This high-profile project included decoration works to hospital wards, offices, shared spaces, treatment rooms and plant rooms using specialist coatings provided by Sika and Johnstone’s.

The plant room floors were finished with Johnstone’s two pack epoxy floor paint, while partition walls and ceilings were protected with a five coat Sika PL14 System, which includes Sikagard 403W, embedded Reemat Light, a further coat of 403W followed by 2 coats of Sikagard 405W. Each of these products needed to be managed carefully as storage space was limited and deliveries had to be planned to account for lead times. Our waste on this project was minimal due to the diligent management by our site team.

This job was a wonderful example of how working closely and collaboratively with a client ensures successful application of technically exacting products at each stage of the project. During our time on site we were also awarded with multiple safety awards and regularly achieved 100% on our health & safety audits.

Our achievements at GOSH demonstrate our commitment to our values of Quality, Health & Safety, People and Sustainability.
