Abcam is a supplier of life science research tools. We worked with Kier to deliver a new 3-storey laboratory building and 4-storey office building on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Our works involved full decoration of both buildings, including the application of specialist hygiene coatings in the labratory environments.

Jaguar Land Rover have expanded their site at Gaydon to house their growing design, product engineering and purchasing functions.

This is our second project within the Elephant and Castle regeneration, an ambitious project to not only build almost 3,000 new homes on the former Heygate estate but to create 6,000 jobs during and after construction and use the project as a huge opportunity to train construction skills to local workers.

Completion: Spring 2018

Working once more with ISG Construction Ltd, our team carried out full decoration works across the leisure centre, including specialist applications to the swimming pool area, dance studio, fitness suite and changing facilities. The building did present some access challenges, but were easily overcome with the help of our advanced equipment.

CLIENT: Balfour Beatty

LABOUR RESOURCE AT PEAK: 10

RAF Brize Norton is the largest station of the Royal Air Force. In 2016, Balfour Beatty undertook a £42 million pound project, building a brand new 3-bay hangar for the Airbus A400M Atlas aircraft. FH Harvey were awarded the full decoration package for this 24,000 sq m project, including all walls, ceiling and steel work.

Completion: July 2017

FH Harvey secured this mixed-use 123,000 sq ft project in Feb 2017 for Kier. Situated on the Kings Cross Development in Central London, the building includes office areas, a cinema complex, retail space, restaurants and an underground carpark.

Our team carried out full decoration works throughout the project. This included painting all walls, plasterboard and ceilings, as well as sealing concrete and the application of resin flooring.

Client: Laing O'Rourke

Completion: September 2018

Laing O'Rourke were commissioned to build a new research facility for the Oxford University Department of Physics. This seven-storey building was innovative in that only five storeys were built above ground, the remainder were built below ground with minimal disruption to the protected buildings and trees adjacent to the site. 

FH Harvey carried out all decoration works throughout, including specialist wood treatments to the unique staircases, bannisters and railings using sustainable Dulux products. The building has since achieved an BREEAM rating of Excellent.

Parnell House was a very successful regeneration project in the Victoria area of London. The 12,000 sqm redevelopment, costing £35 million, including 6 floors with 14 high end residential units, office space and underground car park.

The multi-use building provided a fantastic opportunity to bring together our two specialist teams. Our experienced commercial team carried out the office and shared space decorations, whilst our residential team worked on the high-end living spaces.

With logistical challenges provided by the narrow entrance and access limitations, we used 'just in time' deliveries for our Dulux products and recycling collections were co-ordinated with deliveries.

Our project at Shepherd Street involved full decoration works of four high-end residential spaces. The redevelopment included three three-story townhouses, plus a three-bed basement property. As with all our luxury residential projects, our decorating team had a strict specification to follow and delivered quality job to the highest standard.
